Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This is my personal blog, and I keep the information I collect to the minimum. This page explains what that is, why I collect it and what you can ask me to do with it.
Who runs this site?
I’m Juhi Sharma, and I run therealjuhisharma.com from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. If you have a question about your information, use the contact form and I’ll reply.
What do I collect?
When you send me a message
The contact form asks for your name, your email address and your message. If you write about a brand collaboration, it also asks for your brand and website. The form is delivered to my email inbox by a service called FormSubmit. I use what you send only to reply to you, and I don’t add you to any mailing list.
When you leave a comment
Comments ask for a name and your comment. Your comment is stored on Cloudflare, the company that hosts this site, and it only appears on the page after I’ve read and approved it. To stop spam, the site keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address with the comment and limits how many comments can be sent in a short time. The scrambled version can’t be turned back into your IP address. Please don’t put anything private in a comment, because once it’s approved anyone can read it.
When you visit
Like every website host, Cloudflare processes basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type so it can deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks.
Analytics
I use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which posts they read. It sets cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, roughly where you are and the device you use, and Google processes it under its own privacy policy. I don’t use it for advertising, and I can’t see who you are. You can block it with your browser’s privacy settings or with Google’s opt-out add-on.
Videos and links to other sites
A few posts include YouTube videos. The video doesn’t load until you press play, and then it loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie.com) player, where YouTube’s own privacy policy applies. Links to Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and the brands I write about take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
How long do I keep it?
I keep messages for as long as I need them to reply to you or work with you. Approved comments stay on the post they were left on until you ask me to remove them. Comments I don’t approve are deleted.
What can you ask me to do?
You can ask me to show you, correct or delete the information I have about you, including any comment you’ve left. Send me a note through the contact form, and tell me the name you used and the post you commented on. Canada’s privacy law (PIPEDA) gives you these rights, and I’ll respond within 30 days.
Children
This blog isn’t meant for children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If I change how I handle information, I’ll update this page and the date at the top.
